I finished a coin quilt with a jelly roll of Hullabaloo fabric. It's a cute line with lots of dots, color and animals. I thought it might make a nice play mat/quilt for our little granddaughter, Callie Jane.

I'm one of those who rarely pre-washes fabric because I enjoy the crinkle effect from shrinkage. I didn't prewash the flannel backing and it REALLY shrank so I got a little more crinkle than I had planned for! Those are my Valentine tulips from Mr. White Socks. I'm lucky because he can be quite romantic!
I've started practicing my hand quilting. Every Wednesday morning I quilt with a group of Mennonite ladies. They have been kind enough to include me in their circle and I am getting "expert" guidance! You can see a little big stitch quilting on the pillow I made to match the quilt.

And another block for Helen in our Scrappy Sew Be It bee.
Have a great week and I'll see you soon!
